About the SciFi Collection Libraries Consortium (SFCLC)

Page history last edited by Jeremy Brett 1 year, 3 months ago

The SciFi Collection Libraries Consortium (SFCLC) is an informal coalition of librarians and archivists in institutions with collections of both primary and secondary source materials in the realm of Science Fiction and Fantasy (SF). The SFCLC brings institutions together with the common goals of increasing awareness of and access to our SF collections. We work together to exchange information and ideas, to coordinate the sharing of duplicate and gift materials amongst participating institutions, and to implement collaborative projects that will ensure that the research needs of the SF scholarly and fan communities will be met. The SFCLC is the successor to two previous email listserve forms of the consortium, which launched under the name Science Fiction Collections Consortium (SFCC) in 2011.

  • To access the SciFi Collection Libraries Consortium (SFCLC) listserv, the primary avenue of communication for the members, please send an email to Lib-SFCLC@ucr.edu and request to be added.
  • To see the archive of past SFCC list postings (2011-2012), visit the SFCC Archives.
